1. What is Public Reading of Scripture?
Many people ‘gather as a community’ and ‘listen and read together’ the ‘Bible’, the word of God. Community Bible reading is a ‘spiritual practice of faith’
that is done together regularly in daily life . From Moses to Jesus, people have heard the Bible in their daily lives. By listening to the Bible, we can pause, calm our confused minds, and humbly listen to God's voice. 2. Community Bible Reading (PRS), more vivid! Experience the living Word of God more vividly with the ‘Drama Bible’ audio included in the ‘Community Bible Reading’ app . You can feel even greater emotion through the ‘Drama Bible’ recorded by over 100 actors/voice actors. 3. Community Bible Reading (PRS), what should I do? You can conduct meetings more easily by using the community Bible reading app. Preparing for a meeting 1) Gather three or more members and decide on a meeting place, time, and frequency. 2) Please prepare a Bible book and the ‘Community Bible Reading’ app to read together. 3) Select a 20-minute, 30-minute, 45-minute, or 60-minute reading plan. 4) Please select a host for the meeting. It's a good idea to allow everyone to take turns leading. Meeting progress 1) The host briefly introduces the text or plays the ‘Bible Project’ video within the app. 2) Select ‘Reading Plan’ through the app. 3) Listen to one ‘Psalm’ as an opening prayer, and then listen to the ‘Bible’ in the order of the reading plan. 4) After listening to the text, each person will take about a minute to ‘meditate’. 5) Listen to a ‘Psalm’ as a closing prayer. 6) Share meditations on what you read. Listen to the Word, grow in learning, and enjoy joy with the community through 'Community Bible Reading'. All we have to do is meet at the appointed place, open the Bible, and listen to the words. “Until I come, devote yourselves to reading, exhorting, and teaching.” 1 Timothy 4:13
